Due to the writing prompt tomorrow, I am canceling tonight's homework.

Today we will continue to work across classes with Ms. Evans's classes in stations on various activities involving fractions, decimals, and measuring.

Brain juice:  What is a factorial?  It is used in higher math and it is very simple--

5! (or "5 factorial") means 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1, or 120.
3! means 3 x 2 x 1, or 6.
6! means 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1, or 720.
So, what would 4! be equal to?

This Week

This week in math we will be focusing on operations with fractions.  We will study adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers, comparing and ordering fractions, and decimal/fraction conversion.

The honors math class will delve further into ratios and proportions provided they have met expectations with fractions.
